Port Charlotte, FL Dolores M. Van Blarcom 81, died November 9, 2010. Dolores was born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Kugler. She was formerly of Scotch Plains, Martinsville and Colorado before moving to Port Charlotte, FL over 20 years ago. She was employed as a Secretary for Johns-Manville for 13 years at the NJ location and then for 13 years in Colorado. She retired in 1984. She was a member of US Humane Society and enjoyed gardening, feeding birds and other wild animals. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband William who died in 2002, daughter Susan Newcomb in 2009 and a sister Audrey Paranay in 1987. Surviving are a sister Marion S. Kinney and her husband David, two grandchildren Allison Sarver and Dion Newcomb, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 11am Wednesay at the Bruce C. Van Arsdale Funeral Home, 111 N. Gaston Ave., Somerville. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater.
