Added: Jan 14, 2018Emma May (Green) Roe, age 87, of Horseheads died September 7, 1958. She was a member of the Sullivanville Methodist church. She lived most of her adult life raising her family in Sullivanville. She was an accomplished seamstress.
Survived by daughters: Christine Bush of Elmira, Mrs Kenneth (Celia) Inscho of Dundee, N.Y.; Sons,Glen Roe of Akron, Ohio and Clarence Roe of Horseheads. Sister, Rachel Chapman of Elmira Heights, 22 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. A son, Leslie (Jim) pre-deceased her.
Funeral services at the Ballard and Lindgren Funeral Home, Elmira Heights with Rev. Horace Pittman officiating. Burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads.
