Lois Ruth Van Blarcom Graef

Lois was the first born daughter of William Ackerson and Ruth Burnett Edwards Van Blarcom. She was born in Franklin, Sussex County, NJ, but spent her teenage years in Bound Brook.

In 1940, Lois married George Milton Graef II and had two children; George 'Chip' and Van Edwards. Lois lived in New Jersey until following her boys out west in the 1980s. She settled in Colorado Springs where she lived the rest of her days.

Lois was a real trip. She was funny and pulled no punches. As far as I can remember, you knew exactly where you stood with Aunt Lo. I have few memories of her when I was young, but was lucky enough to visit with her about a year before she passed.

She was cremated and remembered with a memorial service in Colorado.
