Hendrick Janse Buys

Hendrick Janse Buys was the second child born to Jan Cornelis Buys (Jan Damen) and his first wife Eybetje Lubberts Van Blarcom.

Some information suggests that Hendrick died as a child in 1666, but this information still needs to be sourced and verified. according to John Reynolds-Totten, "We have no further record of this child. He is not mentioned as a surviving child of Eybe Lubberts in the declaration of his father Jan Cornelis Buys made on April 24, 1668. He may have been the child for whose grave Jan Cornelis Buys paid in 1669 (Flat. Frost Burials 17)."¹
