Harold E Shay

Harold E Shay was born in 1910, son of Chola Nicholas Shay and Sadie M Henry Shay.

Between 1930 and 1940, Harold married Lucinda Seby. there is no current record of children from their marriage.

While living at home as a young man, Harold worked odd jobs. According to the 1940 census, Harold was working as a chauffeur.

Harold's headstone features "G" and compass insignia, which is a symbol of the Freemason fraternity. There is also a flag and service marker at his grave site, which indicates military service. Details of his service have not been discovered yet.

Harold E Shay died in 1952 and is buried at Branchville Cemetery in Branchville, Sussex County, New Jersey. His headstone playfully says "Just Away" under his name and birth/death information.
