Alvah Leslie Beatty was born in 1880, son of Robert Stockton Beatty and Annie Bevans Beatty.
In 1909, Alvah married Bertha E Shaw, daughter of Rodman Shaw and Mary Ann Pierce Shaw. There is no record of children from their marriage.
Alvah had a long time career in the silk industry as a weaver.
Alvah registered for the draft in both WWI and WWII, however there is no record of service.
Alvah died in 1958 and is buried with his wife at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, Sussex County, New Jersey.
