Charles Lawrence Roe was born in 1903, son of John Charles Roe and Emma A Davis Roe. Charles spent his early years in New York, and relocated with the family to Montana in 1913/1914.
In the 1920s, Charles married Alta Melova Fowler, daughter of Arthur R Fowler and May (????) Fowler of Iowa. Charles and Melova had three children born in Washington.
Charles worked on the family farm as a laborer until marrying and moving on to Washington. For some time he worked as a truck driver before going back to farming.
Charles Lawrence Roe died in 1989 and is buried with his wife at Chelan Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan, Chelan County, Washington.
