George Burnett Ball was the third child and first son born to George Edward Ball and Sarah Elizabeth Yatman Ball.
George died on April 7, 1881 at the age of 9 from scarlet fever. He was the first of three children to die from the same affliction. It can be assumed he is buried with family members at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, Sussex, New Jersey.
