Frank Riggles

Frank Riggles was born in 1855, son of John Riggles and Harriet (????) Riggles.

In 1884, Frank married Mary J Roe, daughter of Daniel Roe and Margaret Martha Vanderhoof Roe. Frank and Mary adopted a daughter, Joan (1887). After his first wife passed, Frank married her cousin, Elvira M Vanderhoof, daughter of Henry John and Ursula Ann Smith Vanderhoof, in 1904.

Frank worked as a day laborer and a machinist performing engine work for the railroad.

After the census in 1900, Frank and Mary's adopted daughter, Joan, does not appear to be living with Frank. Her trail is lost after the death of her adoptive mother in 1904

Frank Riggles died in 1926 and is buried with both his first and second wives at Coopers Plains Cemetery in Coopers Plains, Steuben, New York.
