John Edwards was the seventh child born to William Edwards and Mary Ann Vanderhoof Edwards. Edward lived at home until at least 1870, then we lose track of him until 1900.
According to the 1900 census, Edward is living with his brother Frank and his family and working at the zinc mines. There is no indication that Edward was ever married or had any children.
By 1910 he was living with his sister Susan and her husband Philip in Hardyston and working as a locomotive engineer.
Edward died in 1925 and is buried at North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, Sussex, NJ
