Andrew J Price

Andrew J Price was the third child and only son of James Edwin Price and Lucy Ann Van Blarcom Price. He lived at home until at least 1900.

On October 10, 1906 Andrew married Genevieve "Jennie" May McDonald, daughter of Wallace J and Adelia M Wyman McDonald. Andrew and Jennie had six children all born in Higgins, Roscommon, Michigan; Ivy Jane (1907-1983), James Edwin (1909-1957), Andrew Jackson (1910-1984), Richard Wallace Price (1912-1976), Kathryn Emma Price (1916-1999), and Marjorie Price (1918-1992). Andrew's first wife Jennie died in 1923.

On November 7, 1925, Andrew married second Kathryn Clark, daughter of Ed G Clark and Flora Buthe Clark, in Detroit. Their marriage only lasted a little over 2 years and ended in divorce initiated by Kathryn who cited 'Extreme Cruelty' as the reason.

On October 25, 1937, Andrew married third Bertha Margaret Willer, who also had two prior marriages, in New Buffalo, Michigan.

For some time Andrew worked as a retail grocer, running his own business. According to the 1940 census, later in life he worked as a 'trimmer' (assuming some sort of landscaping) which was a government job.

Andrew died in 1968 and is buried at Roscommon Village Cemetery in Roscommon, Michigan.
