Addison Priest was the second child and first son of Martin and Martha Van Blarcom Rosenkrans. He lived at home until leaving for Princeton University in 1894. After his graduation in 1898, he lived at home through at least 1900.
Addison married Mabel Lefferts (still need to verify maiden name) and they had one son, Addision Priest Jr.
Following his graduation from Princeton Addison studied law with his father and eventually opened his own practice and settled in Clifton, New Jersey.

ADDISON PRIEST ROSENKRANS, son of Martin, named for Reverend Dr. Priest, then a pastor at Newton, was born in Newton, New Jersey, November 6, 1875. After leaving the public School and reading Greek and Latin under the tutorage of Miss Helen A. Pierce, private teacher, he entered Princeton University, 1894, from which he graduated in the spring of 1998. Addison P., while in the Junior Class, received first premium and medal in the debate of that class participated in by the students of the University. He took a regular Classical course in college, making a specialty of English literature. He is now studying law with his father in Newton, is a member of the Presbyterian church, ex-President of the Y.P.S.C.B. of the Presbyterian church of Newton and ex-Secretary of the Y.P.S.C.E. of the county of Sussex, having recently resigned.
Addison died in 1952.
