William D Van Blarcom

William "Willie" D Van Blarcom was the fourth child born to John and Emma Weller Van Blarcom. He was bounced around a bit as a child due to losing his parents at a young age. Willie and his older sister, Lizzie, are listed as living with her aunts Elizabeth and Mary Weller in the 1880 census.

On April 28, 1896, Willie married Mary Elizabeth Search in Sparta, Sussex, New Jersey. There is no record of children from their marriage.

Willie only finished school through the 8th grade. According to census docs, Willie worked as a butcher in the early 1900s. Later he worked as a guard, and engineer and a mill attendant at the zinc mines.

In 1940 Willie was living with his older brother Frederick in Sparta, Sussex, New Jersey. They were both widowed at the time.

Willie died in 1942 and is buried with his wife at Sparta Cemetery in Sparta, Sussex County, New Jersey.
