James William Edwards

James Edwards was the second child born to William Edwards and Mary Ann Vanderhoof Edwards. James was raised in Hardyston but eventually moved west. By 1880 James had moved to Kansas and was living with his Uncle, John Vanderhoff, and herding stock.

On March 3, 1889 James married Della Lozier of Kansas City Missouri and the two had seven children; Maude (1891-1958), William (1892), Susie Ollie (1896-1978), Rena (1898), Virgie (1902), Albert (1905), and Lottie (1911).

By 1910 the family was living in Otter, Saline County, Arkansas and James worked as a general farmer.

Death and burial for James William Edwards has not yet been verified, though he died between 1910 and 1920 when his wife was listed as a widow on the census.
