Elizabeth Evangeline Henderson Vanderhoof

Elizabeth Evangeline was born on Logan, Ohio to Samuel and Matilda Uln Henderson.

On October 8, 1874, Elizabeth married John Wesley Vanderhoof, son of Garret and Catherine Winters Vanderhoof and the two had eight children; Garrett Evans, Albert Henderson, Margaret Rebecca, Matildia Florence, Carrie Eva, Henry Chillian, Mac Harrison and an infant who was unnamed and died young.

By 1880 the family settled in Tallyrand, Wilson County, Kansas where they would stay at least until John's death in 1900.

Elizabeth is buried in Neodesha Cemetery, Neodesha, Wilson, Kansas with her husband and several children.
