Caleb Ball

Caleb Ball was born in about 1728 i Hanover, Morris, New Jersey. He was the son of Caleb Ball and Sarah Wallace.

Caleb Ball married Martha Sergant on December 8, 1748 and the two had two children; Sarah and Mary. Caleb married second Mary Parrot, daughter of Thomas Parrot and Mary, on April 3, 1755. Caleb and his second wife, Mary, had six children; Caleb, Comfort, Johanna, Ezekiel, Nancy and Helen. On July 23, 1780 in Essex Co, NJ, Caleb married his third wife, Lois Gordon.

In 1748 Joshua Ball of Hanover, NJ, for and in consideration of eighty pounds of lawful money of New Jersey sold to his brother, Caleb Ball, bloomer, also of Hanover, a one equal sixth part of the Old Iron Works in Hanover, along with the one equal sixth part of the saw mill adjoining together with land, stream, dam, houses, cole house. This share in the Iron Works had previously belonged to their father Caleb Ball Sr.

Caleb Ball died on 15 November 1782.
