Jemima Ball Fairchild

Jemima Ball was the first daughter born to Joshua Ball and his second wife Martha.

Jemima Ball married Lent Winchel Fairchild, on December 25, 1785 at Hanover, Morris, New Jersey. The two had seven children; Keturah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Lydia, Abraham, Ashbel and Louisa.

Jemima Ball Fairchild was known in the various families as "good Jemima Fairchild".

Jemima Ball died on May 21, 1824 at Hanover, Morris, New Jersey, at age 62. She is buried at the First Presbyterian Church of Hanover Cemetery in Hanover, Morris, NJ.
