John Vergason Ball

John Vergason was the fourth child born to Isaac Ball and Sarah Burnett Ball.
On March 27, 1837 John married Phebe Lindsley. John and Phebe had three children; Harriet Elizabeth, Kezia and Lyman Vergason. John lost his first wife Phebe in 1846 and in 1848 married Arminda Burns. John and Arminda had no children and she died in 1850. On November 20, 1852 John married his third wife Barbara McMurty.
According to census documents, John worked as a shoemaker as well as a bridge tender.
John Vergason Ball died in 1899. His burial is currently unconfirmed.
